The firm is family-owned, and the founder, Jane Bennett, has over 20 years of experience as a private client lawyer. She specialises in the law regarding vulnerable clients and has been doing so for the last 15 years. Before founding JE Bennett Law, Jane was a partner at two law firms in the City of London.
Jane has a passion for helping the vulnerable and decided to start her own practice to focus on that. She wanted to concentrate on the client"s needs and grow the practice without the burden of expensive overheads. Today, the JE Bennett Law team has over 20 staff, with 3 partners (all Legal 500 ranked) and well over 150 professional deputyship clients.
The team shares Jane"s passion and pride themselves on offering clients genuine value and a personal service. The firm"s core business is helping private clients with matters regarding the Court of Protection; trusts for the vulnerable, and powers of attorney. Jane"s particular specialization is acting as an expert witness in high-value and catastrophic personal injury litigation claims. She also handles the role and costs associated with a professional deputy and related issues.
